The 6th transnational project meeting, Poland – hybrid – on the – on May 9-10, 2023

    On May 9 and 10, 2023, another meeting of the SoMoveED project team took place. We met at the headquarters of the project leader at the University of Zielona Góra in Poland. The main aim of the meeting was continuing work and monitoring the performance of tasks. Since the outputs O1,O2, O3, O4, O5 are already finished we worked on the dissemination and multiplication actions and on the output O6 – the MOOC. Our project is coming to an end, so we also talked about what we still need to do to finalize some formal issues.

     

    AGENDA of the meeting

    During the meeting we focused on the management of the project but also on evaluation and discussions about “Mobile Social Education in Practice”

    We invited the staff of the University of Zielona Góra and students to the first session of the meeting. We wanted them to get acquainted with the activities in the SoMoveED project and share their impressions on the subject.

    PART 1 – University of Zielona Góra library

    SESSION I – MOBILE EDUCATION AND CHANGE. It was collection of presentations about the methods developed by us during the project implementation:

    • Visiting for Change (J.Frątczak-Müller&A.Mielczarek-Żejmo,PL);
    • Educational Walks and Embodied Learning for Decision-Making Skills (AlexandraGheondea-Eladi, RO);
    • Social Education on the Move (SoMoveED): an example with Psychology students of the University of Madeira (Margarida Pocinho, PT);
    • Movement-based education in Development Psychology in Higher Education: an example (Soraia Garcês, PT);
    • How walking taught me to listen? (Konrad Piątek, PL);
    • Let’s go outside! Moving hadbooks for social education (Magdalena Pokrzyńska, PL and Alexandru Corpade, RO);

    The first session of very dynamic and brief presentations was finished with discussion.

    SESSION II – APPLICATION OF MOBILE EDUCATION

    This is important to underline that the first part was with the presence and active participation of students and staff members.

    The afternoon PART II (hybrid) was focused on the management, evaluation of the SoMoveED outputs and finishing some tasks of MOOC. We also added session when our Turkish participant Sinan Tankut Gülhan from Gaziantep, shared his reflection about the disaster which hit his country and all of the team members from Gaziantep (TR).

    Next part – evaluation done by students of the outputs O1, O3, O4 and the results were presented by Alexandru Corpade (RO). The final part was about the current version of MOOC structure.

    The final part was inspirational walk run by Mariusz Kwiatkowski – Life between the blocks of flats.

    SESSION III – The 10th of May 2023

    PART III (hybrid) – started from short inspirational walk – Nature connecting generations –run by Dorota Bazuń, PL. Later we continued work on developing and correcting MOOC. We finished with discussion about the MOOC.

    The last part was about management of the final tasks such as preparing to close the project (documents, evaluation reports etc.). At the end we summed up the meeting and wished everybody who was travelling a good trip.
